This vegan french toast in wonderfully crispy and cinnamony (is that even a word?)! No need for eggs to indulgence with some sweet french toast!
For the recipe you will need:
- 2 slices of toast
- 1 flax egg (15g grounded flax seeds mixed with warm water, let rest for 20min)
- 10g vanilla flavoured protein powder (optional)
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- pinch of nutmeg
- pinch of vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp plant milk (I used cashew milk)
Mix all the ingredients together and dip the bread slices on the mixture. Cook on a frying pan 3 minutes each side or until golden brown. Top with PB and jam and enjoy!
